Our Services
While it is impossible to give exact prices on work given the unique nature of every home, it has always been greatly frustrating that finding any sort of average price is so hard. So below we have listed some of our services and what we expect them to cost. Note that every home is different and we cannot promise your home will not cost more. All we can promise is to be honest and up front with what we find when we are there.
Moving $500 per room
We box, pack, and unpack everything. all you have to do is tell us where things go. you are more than welcome to mark where you want everything in your new house, leave your old house for the weekend and come back to your new one
Handyman
We don't come drop your things in your new house. we hang your TVs, pictures, reassemble your furniture, and make things work. We charge $100 per TV and $10 per picture
Painting $300-700 per room
Painting is mostly hired out so prices are more subject to variation unless it is a smaller project we can do in house
Flooring $5-20 per foot
Flooring is near and dear to our hearts because we have had so many flooring contractors guide us to what their comfort zone or their high margin, not what we want. Expect $5 a foot for vinyl, $7 a foot for pine, and $20 a foot for oak, and Tile has to be subcontracted out.
Smart Home
$500 + cost of materials
When you move into a new house you don't just want the paint to be pretty, you want your technology to work. TV remotes, smart lights, speakers, garage doors, the list goes on. You also don't want to overpay on toys. We're ready to not only set it up to work, but walk you through what is and isn't worth your money.
Heating Cooling and Air Conditioning
The most common misconception is that air conditioning efficiency and comfort come down to the unit itself. While those are certainly important: the air sealing, insulation, unit size, and humidity all play equally large roles. We want to help develop a plan for improving your homes efficiency over several years to make things easiest on your budget. If you buy a smart thermostat up front, we can do this more effectively than anyone else on earth
Energy
While HVAC is certainly the biggest consumer of electricity, We are quite well versed in how to calculate the ongoing savings of more efficient appliances, solar or other options.
Ongoing maintinance
Your maintenance does not stop when we leave. There are still Gutters to be cleaned, pests to be controlled, HVAC to be maintained, and so on. We are happy to set all of those things up, either in a pay as you go model or in a monthly payment. The important thing is we let you decide how you want to move forward.

Our Phillosophy
Most builders want to get a job with a short timeline and a fat margin so they can move onto the next thing, leading them to do what they can to avoid doing more tedious things or things outside their wheelhouse, and honestly: what's more annoying than hiring someone to do a move, and having him refuse to hang your pictures?
More than just painting a new home or hanging pictures, is understanding ongoing maintenance. Every year Gutters need cleaned, water heaters need drained, and trees need trimmed. that's not to mention most people buy a home not knowing when the roof will go out or the Air conditioning will need replaced. Those people don't know when they will go bad or if the replacement should be something better than what they had. this all leaves so many homeowners with a sense they're out on a limb alone with their most valuable asset.
Our most ideal client is one who comes to us for a move and handiwork, and who stays with us on a plan for annual maintenance and ongoing work like new appliances and roofs.
On the other hand, if you just want something small, the only thing more annoying than a contractor who makes you search for someone else to do something is one who keeps pestering you for more business.
